Sabelt Sim Racing Jointed Side Mount – Swiveling Side Mount for Sim Rig Accessories

The Sabelt Sim Racing Jointed Side Mount is a swiveling side bracket designed for P-Series, S-Series, and X-Series sim racing cockpits. Thanks to a custom-made swing joint, the mounted arm can be folded to the side, making it much easier to get in and out of the cockpit and allowing for flexible positioning of accessories. The Jointed Side Mount consists of aluminum profiles and double side plates and is mounted on the left side of the cockpit frame. A fixing plate for left-side mounting is included in the scope of delivery.

The Jointed Side Mount is ideal for attaching various Sabelt accessory plates, such as those for keyboards, mice, shifters, or other controls that need to be positioned at the side of the cockpit.

The Swing Joint – Function and Benefits for Daily Sim Rig Use

The central feature of the Jointed Side Mount is its swing joint. Unlike a rigid side mount, this joint allows the arm to be folded away to the side. This is particularly advantageous if you regularly get in and out of the cockpit and a side-mounted accessory would be in the way. The swiveling design also makes it possible to precisely adjust the position of the accessory to your seating position or reach without having to completely realign the entire mount.

Note on Mounting Position

The fixing plate included in the scope of delivery is designed for mounting on the left side of the cockpit frame. Please keep this in mind when planning your setup.

It can be combined with various Sabelt accessory plates, such as the Keyboard Pocket, Keyboard Tray, Mouse Pad Plate, Shifter & Handbrake Plate, or Shifter Plate. These add-on parts are not included and must be purchased separately.
