If I try to sum up July 4th, 2026 in a single sentence, I can't. The day was just too much – too full, too loud, too beautiful and too moving. Around 300 visitors turned the SimRacing Summer Festival 2026 at SimRaceShop in Lich into a day that will stay with us for a long time. And I think it will stay with you too.
A Day That Gets Under Your Skin

The store was packed from the very start. Just shortly after opening we were squeezing through the crowd – families with kids, long-time regulars, people who had found their way to us for the very first time. Everyone on equal footing. Everyone with the same look: curious, enthusiastic, just happy. That's exactly what we put this event together for every year.
Partners & Brands – the Full Breadth of the SimRacing World
For the first time we used the Summer Festival as a real exhibition platform for our brand partners – and the range was impressive.
Ascher Racing had their entire wheel and DDU range on display and presented together with Tracktime the new Series One Rig – and anyone who wanted could jump in for a lap in RaceRoom right there. Bavarian SimTec showed off their full portfolio – from the CC Button Box through DDUs to their high-quality sim wheels, everything there to touch and try. Moza Racing, presented by Little Bit, presented their current hardware lineup for hands-on discovery. Memory PC showed what powers a real SimRacing setup under the hood. Sensit Haptics was on site with their haptics solutions for SimRacing. And for something completely different: DinkCrazy Tattoo was also there and set the needle right on the spot.
If you wanted an overview of what the SimRacing world has to offer right now – the Summer Festival 2026 was exactly the right place to be.
Simulators for Everyone

Many rigs were available for free testing throughout the day. A wide variety of setups invited visitors to try and compare – from compact entry-level solutions to motion rigs and setups with haptics integration. The full breadth of the SimRacing world was set up and accessible to everyone.
Fast Lap Challenge: 90 Starters, 805 Laps, One Winner

A genuine highlight of this year's Summer Festival was the Fast Lap Challenge. Track: Imola. Car: BMW M4 GT3 Evo in Assetto Corsa. Timing via PitPath, live on the large store screen – everyone could follow their own name on the leaderboard.
In the end, 90 participants combined for 805 laps around Imola. 805 laps. That's a number that speaks for itself – and shows what happens when a community comes together and simply has fun driving.
The Podium
Florian Bodin
1:42.552
Conner Karnik
1:42.959
Jeremy Baumert
1:43.383

Congratulations to all three – and especially to Florian Bodin, who set the fastest lap of the day with 1:42.552 and took home the winner's trophy. Just 0.4 seconds separated P1 from P3 – a close, fair battle against the clock.
Event Games: Reaction, Brains and T-Slot Nuts

Alongside the Fast Lap Challenge there were more ways to compete – or simply have fun. The Reaction Challenge ("Who reacts fastest?") put even seasoned SimRacers to the test. And anyone passing the entrance area could take part in our guessing game: How many T-slot nuts fit in the jar? Sounds easy. It wasn't – the winner in the end was Matthias Mäder. Congratulations!
Premiere: SRS Sim-Rank & SRS Micro Flag
Two new products from the SRS Manufaktur made their debut at the Summer Festival 2026: the SRS Sim-Rank and the SRS Micro Flag. Both were presented to the public for the very first time and were available to purchase right on the spot – only those who were there could be among the first to grab one. Missed it? Both products are now available in the shop.
Over 200 Burgers and 170 Portions of Fries
A great day needs great food – and Burger Kosmos delivered, with freshly made burgers from 100% regional beef and brioche buns from a local artisan bakery. The numbers speak for themselves: over 200 burgers and over 170 portions of fries went out across the counter that day. Plus GONRGY Energy Drinks, soft ice cream and cold drinks. The tables under our SRS tents outside were well occupied – and the summer weather played along.
Thank You. Simply: Thank You.

What stays when a day like this is over? A warm feeling in the chest. Around 300 people, all passionate about the same thing. A team that made this day possible. And a community that drives us forward every year.
I say this often – and I mean it every single time: The Summer Festival is not our event. It's yours. You make it what it is. Thank you for that.
