The steering wheel comes in the shape of an R8 steering wheel so a GT style, open top. The front plate made of 5mm thick carbon forms the basic structure of the SimWheel. The grips are now made of polyurethane (PU) and are cast in a special mold around the carbon.
The 9 pushbuttons are made of aluminum and with a protective rim against accidental press.
3 Rotary Switches with Push and PushRotate function offer enough possibilities, the full control over your settings such as ABS, TC, BIAS, BlackBox, etc.. Each of the 3 Push Rotarys can be assigned up to 5 functions. The 7-way multifunction switch (funky switch) is ideal for navigating menus.
As shifters, the high-quality magnetic shifters from Fanatec are used in this wheel, for the dual-clutch variant the Advanced Podium Paddle Module. The scope of delivery includes both the longer and shorter shift paddles made of carbon. Screws and spacers are also included, so you can adjust the paddles to your needs.
The wheel is connected to your computer via USB with the extra long spiral cable. To attach the wheel to a base there are 5 threads on the back, here you can use the standard hole circle of 5x70 and thus all common quick-release systems or hubs can be mounted (eg finch).
